December Wrap-Up:
So in December I read 5 books which is good considering I had a busy month of school with a lot of homework to do! I had a great reading month because I loved every single book I read! Without further ado, here are the books I read in December and a little bit about what I thought about them.
The first book I read in December was The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken and oh my goodness it was amazing. The writing kept me hooked and I absolutely loved the characters (especially Liam). Although I was a bit confused in the beginning, as the story progressed I began to understand what was going on and I really enjoyed this book. The ending was pretty good, although I'm sure it could have been better. I cannot wait to read the sequel! 4.5/5 stars

Ok Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is now one of my favourite books ever. Rainbow has the ability to write such amazing characters and make you fall in love with them instantly. I walked away from this book seriously in love with Levi because come on how can you not love him???? I also related with the main character, Cath, because she is a massive fangirl and she would rather stay on her laptop than go to a party. Although at times I wish I could go in and change the story (becAUSE LEVI), I still really really enjoyed this book and I recommend it to everyone. EVERYONE MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!
I originally gave it a 4.5/5 stars but after a while I decided that it deserved a 5/5 stars :)

I was in a Mortal Instruments mood so I picked up City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. Oh how I missed Jace. I absolutely love this series! The characters are amazing (Jace is my fave because ugh i just i can't even put into words my love for Jace, it's a bit obsessive) and the world that they live in is awesome and I wish I was a shadowhunter because then maybe my life would be interesting! Every single time I picked up this book (or any book in this series), I automatically get sucked into the world and I can immediatly imagine everything that is going on in the book, in my head and it is amazing. Cassandra Clare's writing is descriptive and never fails to keep you hooked because dang each chapter has you flipping page after page, trying to figure out what will happen next. 4/5 stars

Yowza ok so once I finished City of Ashes, I was hooked and I needed more so I picked up City of Glass by Cassandra Clare, the third book in the Mortal Instruments series. This is by far my favourite of the entire series (so far). There were so many twists and turns and cliff hangers and enough plot twists to last you a lifetime. PLUS they spoke some Romanian in the beginning ayooooo (I'm Romanian, and I speak it as well so I was able to read what they were saying and understand it and Jace, boo, you are so witty) Can you tell I love Jace? 'Cause I do... a lot. NO REGRETS.
5/5 stars [AYEEEE]

Okay so the last book I read in December (and 2013) was City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare, the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series. It was the shortest book in the series coming in at 424 pages, so it was quite fast to get through because I was speeding through this series like there was no tomorrow. I just...*sigh* I love this series and this book was really awesome. I don't really know what else to say because it would just come out as asjhkfajshdfnsadnm, fasdbdfkjhabsdhjfasf. Are you feeling the love for this series yet? CAUSE I LOVE IT... ALOT... SO YOU SHOULD READ THIS SERIES.
5/5 stars
January TBR:
So here are the books I want to read in January!
I'm currently reading City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare and I'm really enjoying it! I'm happy to be going into a new year reading my favourite series.
The Diviners by Libba BrayThese next couple of books I hope to read during the Bout Of Books 9.0 Read-A-Thon. I did a whole post on that here! (I'm probably not going to read them all but I've given myself a bunch of options to choose from during the read-a-thon)
Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I hope to get a good amount of reading done this month so that I can start of the year well, and start of my 2014 reading challenge! My goal is to read 50 books this year.
Happy Reading :)
